“WE HAVE REALLY FOCUSED ON WEIGHT REDUCTION. WITH LIGHTER TUBES & LOSING THE LARGEST DIAMETER SECTION – ON EVERY POLE”
In an effort to simplify Ionic’s waterfed pole range, we’re launching a new lightweight but strong pole platform that window cleaners can configure based upon their specific needs. Therefore just like the mythical Greek serpent Ionic’s new HydraTM pole is available with a number of familiar head options.
When you pick up the new Hydra pole the first thing you notice is just how light it is. Ionic has really focused on weight reduction and have reduced the wall thickness of every pole section, resulting in significant weight savings and maintained rigidity. Narrower handles provide a more comfortable grip.
In order to achieve our lightest ever pole, every component came under scrutiny with weight savings being made on nearly every part, from clamps to levers.
Hydra Four Head Types
GRAFTER HEAD
Suited mainly for residential cleaning, it comes as standard with a non-curling monofilament nylon bristle brush and adjustable angle crank.
SWIFT HEAD
This head is extremely
robust and optimised for commercial window cleaning. Available with 12”, 18” or 24” brushes and has a variety of gooseneck length options.
VERTIGO STANDARD HEAD
The tubeless waterfed angle crank of the Vertigo head has been beefed up to provide extra rigidity for precise cleaning.
When used with the new fixed head, Hydra’s lightweight
precision is enhanced to the max.
VERTIGO QUICK-RELEASE HEAD
With the quick release option we’ve improved the design to overcome weakness and improve the fit of the ever increasing range of interchangeable tools, which enable a wide range of cleaning duties.
ONE FINGER OPERATION CLAMPS
The second thing you notice are the new clamps on the HydraTM pole, with slick one finger operation and adjustment these clamps feature patent pending spring assisted release to reduce tube section wear. In addition, the clamps are carefully craft ed to ensure tight closure time after time year after year. Any used Ionic pole can be upgraded to have these latest clamps.
PROTECTOR HANDLE AS STANDARD
The final thing you notice is that every HydraTM pole comes standard with Ionic’s unique Protector handle. The only waterfed pole to meet the British Standard ONE FINGER OPERATION CLAMPS
The second thing you notice are the new clamps on the HydraTM pole, with slick one finger operation and adjustment these clamps feature patent pending spring assisted release to reduce tube section wear. In addition, the clamps are carefully craft ed to ensure tight closure time after time year after year. Any used Ionic pole can be upgraded to have these latest clamps. for electrical safety is now available to you at no extra cost. It seems that there is barely a month that goes by without news of a window cleaner electrocuted at work. Whilst safer than ladders Ionic believe that waterfed poles should be a no-risk alternative. For safety’s sake choose the new light weight HydraTM that won’t light you up or lighten your pocket!
